Kingston Musselman buying guide · Updated October 13, 2026
Understand the complete price
Ask whether the quoted amount is a base price or the total for a particular available home. Request the breakdown of homesite premiums, included options and additional closing charges. Review financing estimates separately with the lender so you understand both your upfront costs and your projected monthly payment.
Questions worth asking
- What does this home's quoted price include?
- Which charges are additional at closing?
- What conditions, dates and financing requirements apply to the current incentive?
Understand ongoing ownership costs
Request the current association and community fee documents for your chosen collection. Ask about what dues cover, additional assessments and any food-and-beverage minimum. Have the appropriate professionals explain property-specific tax, insurance and financing estimates; the previous owner's tax bill or a sample payment is not your personal estimate.
Questions worth asking
- Which HOA, master association and CDD charges apply to this home?
- Where is each charge collected, and how often?
- Which services are included, and which will I pay for separately?
Know who you are working with
Gary is a Lennar on-site new home sales representative. He can explain Lennar's homes, current releases and the community information available to the sales team. If you have your own real estate agent, tell Gary before your visit and ask about Lennar's current registration requirements. Bring contract and financing questions to the appropriate professionals.
Questions worth asking
- What documents should I review before signing?
- What is the current registration process if I already have an agent?
- Who is my contact for construction updates, closing and warranty service?
This checklist is a starting point. Confirm home-specific facts with current builder documents and relevant service providers. Gary represents Lennar in his on-site sales role.
