Kingston Musselman buying guide · Updated October 13, 2026
Look beyond the floor plan
Start with the phase site plan, then ask Gary to identify the homesite on the current release. Compare its orientation, location within the phase and surrounding parcels. Discuss where you want daylight, shade and outdoor living space; visit the site when access is permitted.
Questions worth asking
- Which way does the rear of this home face?
- What is shown behind and beside this lot on the current approved plan?
- How close is it to an entrance, common area or active construction?
Ask what is included in this particular home
A model is a helpful introduction, but the details of the home you buy belong in its specifications and purchase documents. Ask for the exact elevation, selected features, pool package if applicable and price breakdown. Do not assume a feature in one model applies to every home in the collection.
Questions worth asking
- Which features are included in this home's listed price?
- Is a pool included, optional or unavailable on this homesite?
- Can I see the specifications for this exact lot and plan?
Compare the choices available today
Use the dated availability list to shortlist homes, then confirm status before making plans. Ask about estimated closing windows and what could change them. Choose two or three priorities before your visit so Gary can help narrow the options rather than simply show every available home.
Questions worth asking
- Is this homesite still available?
- What is the estimated closing window for this home?
- Which alternative best fits my must-haves if this one sells?
This checklist is a starting point. Confirm home-specific facts with current builder documents and relevant service providers. Gary represents Lennar in his on-site sales role.
